Payment and Refund Policy for BridgeSpace Tutor

Payment Policy
Payment Structure
- Students pay tutors on an hourly basis for tutoring services.
- BridgeSpace Tutor retains a commission of 20% from each payment made to tutors.
Wallet System
- Both students and tutors have personal wallets within the BridgeSpace Tutor platform.
- Students must top up their wallets to pay for tutoring sessions.
- Tutors can withdraw their earnings from their wallets twice a month, with a minimum withdrawal amount of N$250.
Payment Methods
- All payments are facilitated through PayPal or Namibian banks.
Refund Policy
Eligibility for Refunds
- Students are eligible for a full refund if they cancel their tutoring session at least 24 hours before the scheduled class.
- Refunds will also be issued if a tutor cancels the session or fails to show up (no show).
Cancellation Fees
- If a student or tutor fails to cancel a session within the 24-hour window or does not show up, a fee of 45% of the booked amount will be deducted from the payment made.
- This fee applies to both students and tutors as a penalty for not adhering to the cancellation policy.
Refund Process
- Refund requests must be submitted through the BridgeSpace Tutor platform.
- Approved refunds will be processed back to the student's wallet or the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
